A female netizen has sworn off coffee for the next 6 months, all because she found a disgusting looking insect in her iced coffee.
The incident took place at Block 925 Yishun, where the woman has her coffee every morning.
The woman had not noticed the insect at first, until she took a drink from her cup of coffee and found a strange foreign object swirling in her mouth with the drink. She spat out the object immediately and to her horror, discovered that it looked like an insect with wings!
After discovering the unidentifiable insect, she complained about it to the coffee shop helper, who wanted to offer her a new cup of coffee and told her that it was “Bobian” (Singlish for no choice; it cannot be helped).
Outraged at the nonchalant response, the woman has taken to Facebook to air her grievance.
