It is such a shame that the illustrious name of Lee Kuan Yew is being dragged through the mud because of the actions of his unfilial children Lee Hsien Yang, Lee Wei Ling and Lee Hsien Loong. Hsien Yang and Wei Ling for publicly washing their private disagreements in the open and causing distress to Singaporeans and Hsien Loong for not doing enough to reach an amicable decision with his siblings. All three are self-entitled pricks who are too proud to give way to one another, typical spoilt brats from a well-to-do family.
When Lee Kuan Yew died, majority of Singaporeans mourned over his physical passing but his indomitable spirit was still with us. Now because of this public feud between the squabbling siblings who are all too proud to take a step back, Lee Kuan Yew’s name is being sullied by their seflish actions.
In a way, Lee Kuan Yew just died another death today when his kids failed to uphold his good name, they tarnished his name. The elder stateman’s reputation is dead thanks to his spineless selfish children.
I wish for all Singaporeans that these fighting parties will stop their childish fight and settle the house. Don’t make your private matter into a public fight where all Singaporeans have to endure. Singapore will go on whether the house is demolished or not. Stop allowing your family drama and egos to dampen the morale of Singaporeans. As though tough economy is not bad enough, now we have to deal with shit.
To the three Lee siblings, faster meet and thrash it out. We Singaporeans are so ashamed of you and your childish antics.
