ANOTHER HORRIFIC ACCIDENT IN SINGAPORE SEES A MAN TRAPPED IN HIS VAN

In a spate of horrific accidents to have occurred on Monday, another incident saw the SCDF had to cut open the driver’s door of one of the accident vehicles to free the driver. In this particular accident, a trailer and van collided in Tuas, which caused the front of the van to cave in and trapped the van driver.

SCDF officers were seen frantically trying to cut open the door of the van to free the trapped man. The accident, which happened at the junction of Pioneer Road and Tuas West Road, involved only the two vehicles. SCDF confirmed that a man in his 20s, who was the van driver, had multiple injuries and sent to National University Hospital.

No word on whether the trailer driver was injured. Police are still investigating the accident.
