MAN REPORTS COSPLAYERS TO POLICE FOR FAKE HAIR & WEARING ROPES ON THEIR PANTS

A netizen has become the subject of ridicule after he posted a photograph of 2 cosplayers (Japanese for Costume Play) apparently in an attempt to report them to the police.

He claimed that his tour group had come across the girls in the morning at Punggol Promenade and were concerned as they were wearing many ropes on their trousers and had fake hair.

The post first appeared on the Singapore Police Force Facebook page yesterday. His complaint received a response from another netizen, who pointed out that the girls were not up to no good, but were simply there as cosplayers.

Meanwhile, other netizens have been less forgiving, with some calling the man a troll and the others calling him a mountain tortoise or swakoo (Singlish for someone who is unsophisticated and ignorant).
