The police have questioned at least one of the man involved in an alleged protest that took place on an MRT train. The group were protesting against the he detentions under the Internal Security Act (ISA) 30 years ago. The man, Mr Sean Francis Han, 22, is an activist and also the editor of wakeupsg.com.
Mr Han spoke to the media after the left the Police Cantonment Complex, where he was questioned today, and said he did not know if there were any charges against him or the outcome of the questioning. He was also not sure if the rest of the group that took part in the protest will be called up for questioning by the police. Police had earlier said that they were looking at the protest, where the alleged protesters were seen riding a train on the North-South Line while holding copies of the book and wearing blindfolds in a silent protest.
Police have not commented on the latest development on this issue.
