LTA ENFORCEMENT OFFICER USES PHONE AT PETROL KIOSK, A RISK TO PUBLIC SAFETY

A reader sent a photograph of a Land Transport Authority enforcement officer, who was sitting and resting inside a petrol station using his mobile phone.

According to the reader, this was an extremely irresponsible act as using a mobile phone in the open air space in a petrol station could ignite the petroleum gases in the air, causing an explosion.
