CHINA NATIONAL OFFERED DRIVING TESTER BRIBE TO GAIN DRIVING LICENCE

Dear A.S.S. Editor

A Chinese National tried to bribe his driving tester $200 while taking his driving test, so that he can clear his test at the Singapore Safety Driving Centre in February this year.

For that, the Chinese National, Yang Qiang, 41, was sentenced to three weeks jail. He had offered the bribe to tester Noor Hafiz Abdul Aziz, but the tester refused the bribe and reported the matter to CPIB.

No news on whether Yang would also be banned from taking any sort of driving tests in Singapore forever. This kind of person should not even be allowed on Singapore roads for having the cheek to bribe in order to gain a driving licence.
