CONSERVATIVE NETIZENS OFFENDED BY PINK DOT AD IN CATHAY CINELEISURE

Some conservative netizens have submitted a photograph circulating online of a paid advertisement placed by Pink Dot 2017 organizers.

They claim that the ad contravenes existing public law on Hong Lim Park because it invites members of the public, who may be foreigners, to the event.

When told that they could potentially be making a mistake and that the law does not prohibit paid advertising for events, they were insistent that the advertisement should be taken down by Cathay Cineleisure.
