A traffic police officer was spotted lying on a field at 260 Serangoon Road in a pool of his own blood after an alleged accident with a van. It is unclear how the accident happened.
Witnesses at the scene say a fellow police officer was trying to resuscitate the fallen colleague with the help of foreign workers who were in the vicinity. They helped by taking off the injured officer’s clothes to prepare for CPR and other emergency treatment when the paramedics arrive.
The gravely injured police officer has been sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and his situation is currently unknown. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Update: SSG Nadzrie Matin has passed away from his injuries. The driver has been arrested for negligent driving causing death.
