NEWBIE UBER DRIVER WHO KILLED OLD LADY IN ACCIDENT: I HAVE NIGHTMARES EVERY NIGHT

On his second day as an Uber driver, Lee Wei Hui, 42, crashed his rental car into a 68 year old lady Madam Lee while she was crossing the road. Lee cut into the right lane to overtake but by the time he spotted the old lady, it was too late and he crashed into her.

The impact flung Madam Lee onto the car’s windscreen before slumping to the ground with a crushed skull. She was bleeding from her nose and back of the head and passed away even though she was rushed to the nearby hospital.

Madam Lee’s family refuses to forgive Uber driver Lee for the accident and shared that her son still misses her and would make coffee and fruits every morning for her.

As for the driver Mr Lee, he suffers from nightmares every night and wished that he was the one who died instead and is wrecked with guilt.
