JIAK LIAO BEE CIVIL SERVANTS TAICHI AWAY ASSISTANCE FOR 90 YR OLD RESIDENT, SLOW TO CLEAR HER HOARDING HABIT

Dear Editor,

I would like to bring to Public attention of the uselessness of our civil servants who only know how to taichi away the problems while declaring themselves huge bonuses and having 2 person to handle just a single portfolio!

Attached is the photo of the dire straits of this 90 year old at 23 St George’s who have been living in filth and unsanitary environment for the last few years. Neighbours have on numerous occasions, demanded that HDB and the Town Council help to clear her hoarding which is also a fire hazard but they said they have redirected the issue for officials of the CDC and her Eurasian Association to handle.

Months have again passed and nothing has been done to help this poor old lady living with roaches and rodent nests in her house. You can smell the stench merely by walking past her ground floor flat.

Is this the idea of a Swiss Living Standard propagated by the GCT government and made worse by this current government who only care about dollars and cents while leaving our so called Pioneer Generation to toil and rot? #failedstate
