Parichat Pang Chatsri, a 26 year old nurse in Thailand was forced to resign after allegedly disrespecting the nursing profession by wearing an overly sexy short skirt uniform at work. The photo of her in a tight fitting uniform with short skirt at a private hospital landed her in hot soup.
Although the uniform is normal by Singapore standards, the shortness of her skirt is considered provocative in Thailand. Ms Chatsri has made a public apology for wearing her short skirt but the hospital board who had high standards for the nursing profession forced her to quit.
Critics say her short skirt nurse uniform was purposely altered to show off her slim sexy figure.
