SIA WARNS OF SCAMMERS OFFERING FREE AIR TICKETS

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The Singapore Airlines (SIA) has today warned the public of a possible scam, where scammers pretending to be SIA staff are calling and emailing members of the public to phish for personal information. The recipients of the emails or calls are told that they have won air tickets, and then asked to provide personal information.

SIA has advised members of the public that no such offer of free air tickets are given out by them, and that members of the public are to exercise discretion when revealing personal data to unverified sources.
