Dear A.S.S. Editor

The woman who was hit by a bus along Choa Chu Kang Drive last Wednesday had succumbed to her injuries on Saturday morning. The woman was identified as Wai Lai Leng, 49, a laboratory assistant.

She was reportedly attempting to cross the road towards the Yew Tee MRT Station on her way to work when the bus hit her. She was taken to the Ng Teng Fong hospital for emergency surgery and was warded in the ICU, but she remained unresponsive until she passed away.

The family had not heard from the driver of the yellow coloured bus. Photos shared by netizens showed that the windscreen of the bus was cracked.
