The Singapore Police Force confirmed that they have received reports of a loud sound heard at 6.40PM at Sentosa Cove today.

They are trying to determine the cause of the loud sound and are requesting anyone with information to step forward and assist the police.

The incident was first reported by a Sentosa Cove resident, which resulted in both Sentosa Rangers and Singapore Police Force officers beng sent to the scene. They are still on site investigating the sound.

“The SPF and Sentosa Rangers were activated immediately to conduct checks in the area and there have been no abnormalities reported,” said the spokesman. “Investigations by the SPF are ongoing. SDC is working closely with the authorities and our stakeholders on the island to render assistance where necessary.”
