2 DEAD BODIES FOUND @ MARSILING HDB, MAN’S BODY RECOVERED FROM FOOT OF BLOCK

Police are investigating the deaths of a 59 year-old man and a 31 year-old woman who were found dead in Marsiling yesterday morning.

According to the Singapore Police Force, they received a call for assistance at Block 17, Marsiling Lane at 1.41AM yesterday. They arrived to find a Singaporean man, identified as Ang Poh Hwa, lying motionless at the foot of the HDB block, and the body of a Vietnamese woman in his 2 room flat on the 5th floor of Block 16.

Reporters described the scene in the flat as gruesome, with drops of blood and a thick stench in the morning.

Singapore Civil Defence Force officers confirmed that they responded to a call for help at 1.40AM and sent an ambulance to the scene, where paramedics pronounced a man dead. The SCDF was alerted again at 3.30am and sent another ambulance to the other location, where it pronounced the woman dead.
