DOES LTA ALLOW PRIVATE BUSES TO PICK UP PASSENGERS LIKE PUBLIC BUSES?

What is the LTA doing lately? There are so many private buses appearing along Bras Basah, Orchard and Shenton Way area providing illegal bus services! Why no enforcement? I have seen private buses without any signage stopping at almost every stops at Shenton Way between 8.15am to 8.55am and also picking up passengers along Shenton Way and Orchard area bus stops between 5.45pm to 7pm! Passengers were seen paying the driver in cash. And these buses were than seen dropping off passengers at various stops in the heartlands areas like Jurong West, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Panjang, Yew Tee, Hougang, Punggol Pasir Ris, West Coast and Sengkang areas.

Why is LTA allowing private buses to ply our bus routes? It has backfire that now so many private bus owners who have unoccupied buses are coming out to make an easy profit. The reason why are these buses coming out because such high end express services saves time and it’s guaranteed seating, which has gained popularity so much so that even Grab is dong it!

LTA please take actions and passengers who commute by such buses are required to stop taking them anymore, if any accident were to happen, who is going to answer for it? The driver? Operator? LTA or PTC? Please make this viral to ensure that audiences are aware of such illegal private bus services. Thank you.
