MRT SIGNAL FAULT DELAYS TRAIN IN MORNING PEAK HOURS AGAIN

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Another signal fault hit the MRT North South line this morning, disrupting train services from Ang Mo Kio to Marina South Pier. Although the fault was cleared by the hour, it still represents another disruption, and thus another failure on the part of the MRT management.

Why are we still having frequent signal problems? Weren’t the SMRT, SBS Transit, and LTA working hard to solve all these issues? And they have been trying to solve the same issues for the longest time. Yet, we still hear of the same problems occurring again and again.

This is failure at the highest level. If you keep getting the same problems year after year even if you have been working hard trying to solve the same problem, isn’t that a failure? In any other business, if you keep doing the same mistakes even after being told multiple times, you would probably have been sacked a long time ago already.
