JACK’S PLACE AT PAYA LEBAR SQUARE HAS LICENCE SUSPENDED FOR COCKROACH INFESTATION

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The Jack’s Place restaurant located in Paya Lebar Square had their licence suspended by NEA for a period of two weeks, due to the restaurant being unable to maintain the hygiene in their stall and the presence of cockroaches.

The suspension of their licence is from 3 May to 16 May. Goes to show that even reputable restaurants in brand new shopping malls are not immune from having cockroaches infestations, and that maintaining hygiene should be the basic requirement for a food place.

Get your act together, Jack’s Place! You are a restaurant, serving food to your customers. Cockroaches should never be an issue!
