TRAIN SERVICE DISRUPTED ON DOWNTOWN LINE, NO SERVICE AT BOTANIC GARDENS STATION

Prominent humanitarian activist Mr Gilbert Goh shared on the facebook that something was wrong with the train service on the Downtown Line. He said that there were not any more train headed towards Chinatown from Botanic Gardens station and felt weird that while two technicians were toiling away, ten other mrt staff were watching and standing over them.

This was what he said:

"Something wrong at the Chinatown-bound Botanic Garden downtown line. If you are taking that line please take note. There aren't any more trains going to Chinatown now from Botanic Garden.

But feel abit weird seeing 10 over SMRT (should be SBS transit) officers standing and watching two technicians doing the actual work."
