DOWNTOWN LINE DELAY IN MORNING RUSH HOUR AGAIN

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The Downtown Line suffered a signalling fault early this morning, with the SBS Transit informing passengers that they should expect an extra 10 mins journey between Bukit Panjang and Chinatown stations.

However, most commuters reported that they actually had to spend 10 mins stationary at each station, and the problem had occurred much earlier than the announcement made by SBS Transit. So, omce again, a breakdown during morning peak hours. And the problems and issues faced by commuters were not fully properly addressed and broadcasted. If passengers were were delayed by 10 mins at each stop, how could there be only a 10 mins delay between the two stations mentioned?

Someone is not telling the truth.
