WHY ARE CASINOS STILL NOT A SMOKE FREE AREA?

Dear A.S.S. Editor

I have a story to share, I wrote many letters and emails regarding the smoking environment in the casinos but no one seem to be able to help.

Every place in Singapore are not allowed to smoke freely, why smoking in the casino is allowed, the croupiers working in the casinos is inhaling second hand smoke, there are as many as 5 to 6 players smoking directly in front of the croupiers dealing the games.

Can the respective department please look into this matter, the casinos has been opened since 2010, no one seem to be able to provide a smoke free environment place for us to work. Please set up smoking room like what Singapore pool and Singapore turf club do, please give us a healthy environmental place to work, second hand smoke is a deadly weapon. Can the respective department NEA please come forward and help us.
