A staff working for a supermarket store in Yishun has accused her supervisor of denying her legal right to take medical leave in a Facebook post uploaded on her company’s Facebook page.
According to the staff, she suffered from “back bone pain” and had informed her superior of her intention take medical leave. In response, her superior told her: “Like that you better not come [to work] anymore.”
Upset at the unsympathetic treatment she received, the staff posted her grievance online to shame her supervisor.
