NEWS ON BW x HRSS x VFA TAMPINES RESCUE
The 100 mice + 23 rabbits rescue has gone viral! It was published in various local newspapers today and received multiple coverage on social media. We believe the ‘gross’ factor has definitely hit MAX and garnered the attention of the public.
Our biggest question after reading all these articles is: Where is Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA)? For an emergency crisis that involved hundreds of domesticated pets’ lives, the agency has yet to voice their plan of action. And it seems like Town Council and HDB can only turn to AWGs for help, which is apparent in this case. Considering Town Councils, HDB and AVA are all under the Ministry of National Development, why aren’t they working hand in hand to solve such issues? Food for all Singaporeans’ thought.
