POLICE INVESTIGATING COUPLE WHO HIT OLD MAN OVER HAWKER TABLE

The couple at the center of a huge controversy over an incident at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh hawker center are being investigated by police, with police officers approaching the hawkers at the eating joints and taking down their statements.

This follows a viral video posted by Manny Quest, which shows a young woman shouting at an old man who asked for a space at a table occupied by the couple. When her male companion showed up, he was seen smacking the old man on the back, sending him tumbling into the table.

The old man can be heard asking, “I was just talking to her. Why must you bang me?”
