31 Y.O. DIES FROM BLEEDING IN THE BRAIN AFTER CLARK QUAY FIGHT

31 year-old Mr Tan Jun Jie has died from bleeding in the brain after he was assaulted by a group of men at a car park in Clarke Quay on Sunday (16 April).

The incident took place at a car park at River Valley Road near the popular drinking and recreation venue.

He died in hospital at 9.58AM on Wednesday, the Singapore Police Force said in a news release on Thursday. They confirmed that 9 suspects, aged between 20 and 30, have been arrested.

6 of the men will be charged with rioting with a deadly weapon.

If found guilty, they can be jailed for up to 10 years and caned.

Police investigations are ongoing.
