ARE TRAFFIC POLICE USING TAXIS TO CATCH ERRANT MOTORISTS?

This photo of a Comfort Hyundai i40 taxi, SHD4902E with a blue siren light on top went viral online and it’s rumoured that traffic police are using taxis to nab errand road users. It seems that traffic police are so desperate and lawless now to use a taxi, which is a public transport to nab errand users, so how would one know whether if the traffic police officers in the taxi are genuine? They could just be taxi driver impersonating traffic police.

What is happening to Singapore now? Even traffic police are becoming more and more lawless? I think so far, Singapore is the only country that traffic police are using taxis to nab motorists. What a disgrace!
