Dear A.S.S. Editor
The former A*Star research assistant who entered female toilets at his workplace and took upskirt videos of his colleagues was jailed for six months and two weeks. Raymond Loh Wai Mung carried out the acts sometime between 2015 and Jan 25 last year. His lawyer had said that he suffered from severe depression and was undergoing treatment.
Guess what? The three colleagues who he took upskirt photos and videos from would have more reason to suffer from depression than he did. What is supposed to be a safe sanctuary, that of a workplace with trusted colleagues, turned into a place where one man took upskirt videos to cure his depression.
More and more cases of such nature are becoming common nowadays. Maybe it is because of the ease of purchasing hard to notice spy cameras, some of which could be so tiny that it is hard to notice them. How many more of such acts are being carried out at workplaces by perverted men? We may never know.
