2 days ago Strait Times reported that LTA appointing Aedes to conduct studies and site-investigation for LTA new headquarters. However, the budget approved was a very large $56.8 million.
From the website, it says that Tony Ang, Global Board Director of Aedas and co-founder of Aedas’ Singapore office also happens to be the Charmain of a Land Transport Authority (LTA) sub-committee. Isn’t this a conflict of interest? I was also unable to find any tender awarded to Aedas on LTA tender website.
$56.8million is a large sum of money that can be used to help many social causes for Singaporeans, or reinvested to better use. We demand more accountability and transparency with the use of our money.
