ANOTHER MASSIVE TREE FALLS ON TO THE ROAD, BUT NO ONE HURT THIS TIME

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Another alarming news of a tree falling, this time onto a road outside the Singapore Discovery Centre, thus blocking Upper Jurong Road.

This happened on a Saturday, right in the middle of the long weekend holiday. The tree fell across a bus bay and damaged the roof of the sheltered walkway near the bus stop. It was just lucky that despite the holiday, no one was around when the tree fell near the bus bay.

The tree did just miss a car travelling on the road. Luckily again, it was not hit. Imagine if the massive tree had actually fallen on someone. We sure do not want to see a repeat of the fallen tree incidents this year that resulted in a death and a serious injury.
