Dear A.S.S. Editor
The Circle Line of the MRT will finally be a completed circle, true to its name, by 2025. LTA announced that the construction works for three new stations in the line will begin first quarter 2018.
Always was a bit funny when the Circle Line is mentioned, for it is not actually a circle like it is meant to be. But with this extension, the line will have an additional 4km of extension, and three new stations, namely Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward.
But the real question is, why take 7 years to essentially build three stations? No doubt, land would have to be cleared to make way for this extension, but 7 years for 3 new stations? Isn’t that a bit too long a timeframe?
