SECOND DAY IN A ROW MRT DELAY IN THE EAST WEST LINE

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Another morning rush hour, another MRT breakdown. SMRT has early today warned commuters that there will be an additional 25 minutes of travelling time between Joo Koon and Queenstown stations.

This was announced at 7:45am today, but SMRT announced the train fault was cleared by 8:08am. This marks the second day in a row that trains on the East West Line were delayed. On Monday, the train delay was from Bugis to Tanah Merah.

Two delays in two days straight, and we are looking at another transport fare increase. That’s what you get in first world transport system!
