PEOPLE’S PARK COMPLEX RESIDENTS QUEUE AN HOUR JUST TO TAKE LIFT HOME

People’s Park Complex has been plagued by serious lift breakdowns for the longest time. Some residents complained that they have to queue for an hour just to take the lifts to go home. The problem is worse for the elderly who are not fit enough to climb the stairs.

What are the authorities going to do about this? The building is supposed to have 3 lifts, but one is under repair since Dec last year while the other 2 continue to breakdown frequently. The lifts break down at least 3 times a month and sometimes they all just breakdown together.

There are apparently maintenance works there but is it really enough? Do you think the problem will be resolved anytime soon?

Nowadays lift can work is privilege already siol!
