CHAMPIONING DIVISIVE ISSUES SHOW WHY PAP IS FORK-TONGUED

In 2013, PAP minister Indranee Rajah accused the Worker’s Party of “straddling both sides of the fence” when it showed restraint and refused to be drawn into a divisive debate on the hijab issue.

Fast forward to 2017: when WP raised the same issue in Parliament, the PAP and Lee Hsien Loong were quick to accuse it of championing divisive issues – conveniently ignoring the fact that its own MPs have asked about Malay representation in the Army as well as championed the tudung issue!

We believe the perfect word to use on the PAP is “fork-tongued”.
