A local female reader has sent us an anonymous email contributing her thoughts on why Asian women do not date men from their own culture and prefer Caucasian men.
According to the reader, she grew up overseas and felt like dating Asian men was like “dating her brother”. She says this is a common refrain among Asian women in the US.
She shared that white men tend to get Asian females easier because they are more romantic and mature. It helps that they do not live with their parents and are often more adventurous when it comes to their lives. For example, an Asian male would be more hesitant about relocating to another city to live in, while a Caucasian male would take it as a challenge.
She also think Asian men are more shy and do not like to approach girls who they think are attractive because of their fear of rejection.
