Finally, laws are about to be changed in that offenders who commit sexual crimes on minors could face harsher penalties. This law is long overdue. This is 2017, and the penalties need to be stiffer as unfortunately, more and more cases of such nature are seen.
The current law is seen by many to be too lenient for offenders of such crimes. We should be firm on such offences, and show these perverts that we don’t tolerate crimes against minors.Finally, some good came out of Parliament this year.
