MOTORCYCLE COE PREMIUMS RACING UPWARDS, JUMPS $600 FROM LAST RECORD HIGH

Motorcycle Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums have jumped $600 in the last bidding exercise, a new record high compared to the $7,483 quoted in the previous exercise.

COE prices for cars have also risen, with Category A premiums rising nearly $1000 from $50,789 to $51,765 since the previous bidding exercise. Category B premiums rose from $53,300 last month to $54,000 in this exercise.

Open category CEOs, which are used for any vehicle type, rose from $53,001 to $54,501.

The only prices that fell were for commercial vehicles, which fell nearly $2000 from $49,002 to $47,036 in the last exercise.
