FTS FORCE CHIOBU GRABCAR DRIVER TO BREAK THE LAW

A chiobu GrabCar driver found herself in a spot when her passengers forced her to pick up 3 adults and 2 children, which is 1 person above the legal limit for a passenger car and a contravention of traffic law in Singapore.

According to the lady driver, she responded to a booking by an Indian FT family. When she arrived, discovered that they had more passengers than she could legally carry. To make things worse, they had 2 young children with them.

Under the law, GrabCar drivers are not allowed to ferry children who still require the use of infant seats.

When she tried to refuse them, the FT family refused to remove their belongings from her car boot and she was forced to take them to their destination.
