MAN DIES AFTER BEING HIT BY TRAIN AT FAJAR LRT

A man is believed to have been struck dead by a train at Fajar LRT station early this morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the incident at 1.05AM. Rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene but paramedics pronounced the man dead on arrival.

SMRT staff had spotted the man’s body lying motionless on the tracks after the last train left the platform.
