ANG MOH HAVE TOTAL DISREGARD FOR SG TRAFFIC LAWS

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Saw a Caucasian cruising along Stamford Road into Prinsep St then into a side road next to Sota yesterday (13 Mar) at around 12.30pm. He caught my attention because he was riding a PMD on the road (not cycling/walking path) plus without proper gear.

He then stopped at the traffic light at the cross junction between Rendezvous Hotel/ SMU/ Sota and rode against traffic along Bras Basah Road before the vehicles on Orchard Road came along towards Bras Basah Road. It was dangerous because he was:

1. riding on the road
2. not wearing a helmet
3. causing danger not only to himself but vehicles driving up in his direction

PMD riders should be aware that riding on roads are a NO-NO at all costs; the regulation does not apply to only locals. Anyone on the road should observe & practice road safety. Managed to capture a video on Quick-time but unable to upload.
