4 MEN ARRESTED OVER MURDER AT ST JAMES CLUB FACE DEATH PENALTY

4 men, aged 20 to 28, have been arrested by the Singapore Police Force following investigations ino the murder of a 34 year-old man at St James Power Station on Sunday.

The first suspect was identified and arrested on the day of the murder. Investigators hen established the identities of the 3 other assailants and arrested them on Monday.

The 4 men had reportedly gotten into a dispute with the murder victim and his friend before using a sharp weapon to stab the victim, who later died in hospital. The victim’s friend was also seriously wounded.

One of the suspects, a 27 year-old, will be charged this Tuesday with murder with common intention, a charge which carries the death penalty if convicted.

Police are investigating the other 3 suspects.
