Dear A.S.S. Editor
Finally, a law that makes lots of sense for a country trying to encourage an increase in birth rates. Families will be allowed to board public buses with open strollers come April 2.
These are part of plans to make travelling with young kids on public transportation system in Singapore more convenient. Anything to make it more convenient to travel should be applauded. However it is really hoped that safety precautions are practiced by bus drivers and parents when they birng the strollers up. We don’t want to hear of any untoward accident resulting from strollers being on buses.
Another strange, quirky thing. Why start April 2, not April 1? Trying to avoid April Fool’s Day, is it? Scared people think this is just a prank?
