A photograph of what looks like a massive pool of blood at the scene of an accident at Pasir Ris Drive 4 has shocked Singaporen netizens. Many have speculated that the victims must have lost a lot of blood due to severe injuries.
However, eye witnesses close to the incident have clarified that the “blood” seen on the ground at the scene was in fact Automatic Transmission Fluid leaking from the taxi mounted on the pedestrian walkway.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that an accident involving 3 vehicles, a lorry, a taxi and a private car, took place at Pasir Ris Drive 4 in front of Block 484.
A 61 year-old lorry driver and a 49 year-old taxi driver were sent to Changi General Hospital. Another victim of the accident, a 2 year-old boy, was sent to KK hospital.
