Government so happy, they announced extra four weeks of unpaid child-care leave for civil servants! The civil servants must be damn happy, right? Among all the goodies, another one comes along the way, all thanks to the thoughtful Government.
But wait! What;s this? Unpaid child-care leave of four weeks! Already when you give birth, all the hospital bills, doctor bills and what nots, run up to the thousands. Haven’t even counted the money you need to buy diapers, milk and baby clothes. Plus other unscheduled doctor appointments, because, let’s face it, babies are not healthy 24-7, 365 days. So, all these needs money, lots of it. So, unpaid leave for a month? Who is going to give you back the wages you lost for that one month?
Seems like the government want to make people think they are giving a lot of thought to our struggles. But, no money for one month? No thanks!
