NETIZENS RIDICULE IMM’S DO NOT STEP SIGNS ON FALSE CEILING

Following the unfortunate demise of a teenager at Orchard Central, who fell to his death following a stunt gone wrong, the management at IMM, a mall in Jurong, came fast and some say too furiously.

Signs advising mall goers to avoid stepping on false ceilings and extended portions of mall space on the various floors have appeared, seemingly to warn mall goers for their own safety.

However, according to netizens, these signs are unnecessary and foolish.

For one, many of these signs are located at spots that are already inaccessible. Another reason they cited was any person determined enough to perform a stunt would still find himself on these dangerous ledges or ceilings, regardless of the mall management’s best efforts.
