Dear ASS Editors,
There was a huge commotion at a Singapore hawker centre after a Singaporean woman questioned a Filipina for her dressing. The Filipina was dressed in netball attire and had the words "SINGAPORE" emblazoned on the back of her shorts.
Upset with the Singaporean's unreasonable questioning of her attire, the woman flew into a rage and this attracted many onlookers. Witnesses say the lady involved was a domestic helper who just played a game of weekend netball.
Was the Filipina being disrespectful to Singapore or is the Singaporean being too sensitive and xenophobic?
Previously, the Singapore mens swimming team were asked to change their swimming trunks after the cresecent and stars of the Singapore flag were emblazoned on their trunks and drew the irk of Singaporeans.
