TOA PAYOH HANDPHONE SELLERS ARRESTED AFTER GANGFIGHT OVER DISPUTE

According to eye witnesses, the gang fight which erupted over a dispute at Toa Payoh happened because of a dispute between 2 handphone shop assistants.

The incident took place on 18 February at about 2.30PM at Block 183, Toa Payoh Central.

Police were informed about a gang fight involving a group of men at the location.

Witnesses say that a dispute between a handphone shop assistant, aged 27, and another from a rival shop, aged 38, turned ugly, with the 38 year-old seller bringing in 8 men to confront the younger man. The brawling group were arrested on the spot.
