POOR STUDENTS HAVE MUCH SLIMMER CHANCE OF UNI EDUCATION THAN WELL-TO-DO STUDENTS

The system in this country (be it education or social) is set up in such a manner that children from the rich parents will gets the best education presently more than 80% of students in the SAP schools comes from rich family background) and more than 60% of undergraduates in the local universities (NUS & NTU) coming from higher middle class to the elite class.

Students from poor family will have slim chance to be in the university (it’s not due to the affordability issue but due to poor grade which were imposed to them by virtue of the handicap they’re facing. Lacks of GOOD QUALITY TEACHING & COACHING from good teachers & tutors since they were in primary school).

The poor in the society will cost their next GENERATIONS a lot of sufferings and hardship.
