Today in Parliament:
PAP bulldozes through multiple last minute changes to the Elected Presidency, most significantly that a minority candidate can leave a GRC *days* before running as a *non-partisan* candidate.
Chan Chun Sing then jokingly refers to Halimah Yacob as ‘Madam President’ instead of ‘Madam Speaker’ (??)
He then proceeds to admonish the Workers’ Party for ‘casting aspersions’ (read: asking legitimate questions) on the Elected Presidency.
Dear future Prime Minister, I’m afraid your *own* party has been casting aspersions on the Elected Presidency since *two years ago*. What a freaking hypocrite. This will be an absolute joke of an election.
