Dear Editor,

I refer to your article https://www.allsingaporestuff.com/article/brilliant-solutions-public-complaints

On one hand, we find the government too authoritarian.

On the other hand, we have civil/public servants who provide knee-jerk solutions to deal with or “put an end” to complains made by the public.

Decisions made by the government are non-negotiable. The public facing civil/public servants however seem too weak to stand up against public complaints.

They aspire for the Singapore football to enter the World Cup but they shut down football fields because they children were “noisy” when they played the game. How do young talents get nurtured?

Wild otters are welcomed but chickens get culled for being noisy. It okay to take lives when it gets noisy?
